MONEY CAN MAKE YOU TO FORGET GOD

MONEY CAN MAKE YOU TO FORGET GOD Psalm 62.10...... if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. Money is a powerful tool. It is a good slave but a bad master. God wants you to have money but He doesn't want money to have you. Money will have you and become your master if you set your heart on it. You will make good money because God's WORD at work in your life will produce results. However..... Psalm 62.10...... if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. Beware of setting your heart upon the riches. Beware of turning gold to god. Beware of putting gold before God. Money gives your comfort. But beware of becoming so comfortable that you begin to forget God. You stop reading the Bible. You stop going to fellowship. You stop going to church. Because you're now very comfortable and you don't need God that much again. Beware.......  Money can make you to forget God! Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased...

YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING TO WIN

Topic: YOU HAVE THE POWER Text: Luke 9.1-6 Luk 9:1  Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Luk 9:2  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. Luk 9:3  And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. Luk 9:4  And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. Luk 9:5  And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. Luk 9:6  And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.  1. IT TAKES POWER TO REIGN OVER EVIL FORCES 1Jn 5:19  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Evil is real. And it cannot be defeated just by wishful thinking and good will. It takes the...

DON'T PLACE BURDENS ON PEOPLE

DON'T PLACE BURDENS ON PEOPLE Tayo Onaleye 2Corinthians 11  9  And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things  I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. Let's avoid putting too much financial burden on church members. People can't get blessed if they don't give. Absolutely correct. But there's a point to which we can place the demand for giving on people that it becomes a burden upon them. We must avoid getting to that point in our churches and ministries. Every enlightened minister should aspire to be so blessed that you're never a burden to your members but rather a blessing. May we be like Nehemiah...... Neh 5:14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the ...

THINK WORLD CLASS

THINK WORLD CLASS Tayo Onaleye 2Corinthians 11 5  For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. Be super confident in the grace of God upon your life. Look at this statement from apostle Paul. It's a massive insight into his mentality. His mentality is world class. Ordinarily one would have thought that the greatest exploits after Jesus left would come from one of those who lived with Him in the flesh. But no. It came from Paul who didn't even meet Jesus physically. This verse lets us into the inner working of the psyche of the apostle. Hear what He said......  I'm in no way less than any of the top ministers! That's basically what apostle Paul said in this verse. His thoughts were world class. What robust self esteem! What great confidence! You must approach life what that type of robust self esteem and strong confidence. You must be world class in your mentality and approach. If you're called to the music...

RESTRICT ACCESS TO YOUR INNER CIRCLE

RESTRICT ACCESS TO YOUR INNER CIRCLE Tayo Onaleye Text: Luke 8.40-56 Luk 8:51  And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. Luk 8:52  And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. Luk 8:53  And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. Luk 8:54  And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. Luk 8:55  And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. Jairus requested that Jesus should heal his daughter. Before Jesus got to Jairus’ house the daughter had died. Jesus eventually raised the dead girl back to like but before He did, he removed some people from the space where He wanted to perform the miracle. Why did Jesus do this?  He did so because not everybody should be allowed into the inner circle of your life. Some of...

CHURCHES TAKING OVER REDUNDANT FACTORIES

CHURCHES TAKING OVER REDUNDANT FACTORIES. Tayo Onaleye It's very simple.... Nature abhors a vacuum. The factory had been shut down for over a decade. Harsh economic environment the main culprit. The former factory is now very little more than dilapidated buildings. Very little economic value except for the real estate value. Then a church steps in. Weekly human capital development. Training programs...etc The former biscuit factory becomes human capital development factory. It's a matter of time.... The seed of human capital development is being sown from that soil that used to manufacture biscuits. The people being "manufactured" by the church from the former biscuit factory will produce many more biscuit factories. Truly.... And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. Isaiah 61.4 Isa 58:12 And they ...

THREE THINGS YOU OWE YOUR EMPLOYER

THREE THINGS YOU OWE YOUR EMPLOYER Tayo Onaleye 1. RESPECT AND HONOUR Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Your employer deserves honour. It's a due you owe her. 1 Timothy 6.1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort Ephesians 6.5-8 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, an...
