THREE THINGS YOU OWE YOUR EMPLOYER

THREE THINGS YOU OWE YOUR EMPLOYER
Tayo Onaleye

1. RESPECT AND HONOUR

Rom 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Your employer deserves honour. It's a due you owe her.

1 Timothy 6.1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort

Ephesians 6.5-8 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

2. LOYALTY

Protect his back

It's a very bad spirit to malign and back-stab your employer.

It's very wrong to speak evil of your employer.

Tit 3:2 ... speak evil of no man...

Don't join the gang of backbiters and back-stabbers. It's a wrong spirit.

Don't join saboteurs who undermine the efforts of their employers.

Protect his back.

3. RESULTS

You have no business being on that payroll if you're not delivering results.

You've no place on that team if you're not contributing value.

Whole-heartedly serve your employer.

Be committed to helping his business succeed.

Be committed to helping her achieve her goals.

Success through the Holy Spirit

SUCCESS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT Tayo Onaleye I define success as  "Well done, thou good and faithful servant...." Matthew 25.21 *I define success as hearing "well done" from God.* Jesus succeeded. Concerning Him the Father said: Mat 3:17  ".......This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." How did Jesus do it? Jesus operated in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit Jesus couldn't have succeeded the way He did. The personal and ministry successes of Jesus were due to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10.38 How *God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost* and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit then we need Him too. That is why Jesus specifically instructed the disciples not to embark upon ministry without the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of m
