ONLY GOD CAN DO WHAT HE SAID HE WILL DO

..... and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. Genesis 21.1

*#Lesson:. God is the one who will do what He said He will do.*

In the life of faith there are things YOU must do.....

But there are things ONLY GOD CAN DO.

God will not ask you to do what only He can do.

Don't be agitated. Don't play God. Don't fret yourself.

He is God.....and He is the ONLY GOD.

Only He is God.

Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me...

He is the only One who can do what He has promised to do.

Wait for Him to do only what He can do.

Don't rush ahead of God like Sarah and Abraham.

Don't birth an Ishmael in your life.

Wait on God for your Isaac.

ONLY GOD CAN DO WHAT ONLY GOD CAN DO.

1Th 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Psa 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psa 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him....

Psa 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land:

LIFE IS ABOUT FOLLOWING

LIFE IS ABOUT FOLLOWING Tayo Onaleye Psalm 63.8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. The Christian life is a journey with the Master. It's about following Him, His agenda and pattern. 1. FOLLOW JESUS Mat 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He's the Bishop of your soul and the Great Shepherd. He's the No.1 person to follow. We follow Jesus by following the leading of the Holy Spirit in us and the Word of God. The first calling of the disciple is not to preach but to follow. Mark 3.14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, 2. FOLLOW YOUR LEADER Don't hang around a leader you refuse to follow. Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. You can't help the the fellow who refuses to follow. Hebrews 13.17 Obey them that have t...

Activating the power of the Holy Spirit

Topic: *Activating the power of the Holy Spirit* Text: Luke 4. 14, 15 And Jesus returned *in the power of the Spirit* into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. Jesus has committed the furtherance of His ministry unto us. Joh 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And like Him, we cannot carry on His ministry without the Holy Spirit. Acts 10.38 How *God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:* who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Luke 4.18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because *he hath anointed* me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering...
