9 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD GO FOR KNOWLEDGE

*9 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD GO FOR KNOWLEDGE*
Tayo Onaleye

*1. God is a God of knowledge*

1Sa 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; letnot arrogancy come out of your mouth: *for the LORD is a God of knowledge,* and by him actions are weighed.

From the passage, we see that Jesus to was a man of knowledge.

Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Apostle Paul was also a man of knowledge.

2Ti 4:13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, *and the books, but especially the parchments.*

1Ti 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

2Timothy 2.15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

If our God is a God of knowledge, our Jesus was a man of knowledge and the apostles were men of knowledge, after whom would you be taking if you are devoid of knowledge?

Who would be your example if you lead an ignorant life?

*2. Knowledge delivers you*

Pro 11:9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but *through knowledge shall the just be delivered.*

*3. Knowledge makes you strong*

Pro 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers befilled with all precious and pleasant riches.

*4. Knowledge improves your finances*

Pro 24:4 And by knowledge shall the chambers befilled with all precious and pleasant riches.

*5. Knowledge elevates you*

Dan 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom andunderstanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them *ten times better*  than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

*6. Knowledge prevents destruction*

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack ofknowledge: because thou hast rejectedknowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

*7. The 21st century is the age of the knowledge worker.*

The world has shifted from the era where economic power resided majorly in land, machines and physical labour. The mind is now the new location of economic power. *More wealth is now being mined from the mind than from the ground.*

*8. Knowledge multiplies grace*

2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be  *multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,*

More knowledge brings more grace into your life.

More knowledge also brings more peace into your life.

*9. Knowledge defines your level*

What you know defines you.

It is therefore difficult to rise above your knowledge level.

Knowledge improves the quality of your life. If you know better you will live better.

Low knowledge is associated with low quality living.

To become more you must know more.

Success through the Holy Spirit

SUCCESS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT Tayo Onaleye I define success as  "Well done, thou good and faithful servant...." Matthew 25.21 *I define success as hearing "well done" from God.* Jesus succeeded. Concerning Him the Father said: Mat 3:17  ".......This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." How did Jesus do it? Jesus operated in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit Jesus couldn't have succeeded the way He did. The personal and ministry successes of Jesus were due to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10.38 How *God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost* and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit then we need Him too. That is why Jesus specifically instructed the disciples not to embark upon ministry without the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of m
