YOUR SINS ARE OF NO CONSEQUENCE IF......

Your sins are of no consequence.....

.....if you have obtained forgiveness by the blood of Jesus.

Of course I don't mean that sin has no consequence. The wages of sin is death. Romans 6.23

But once the blood of Jesus has cleansed you of the sin guilt should no longer have any power over you.

So my focus here is on dealing with GUILT.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

1 John 1. 9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Isa 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Isa 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Once you have asked the Father for forgiveness in the name of Jesus......

1. There's no record of your past sins in heaven. The files have been completely erased. The records don't exist. They can't be traced.

2. Don't be weighed down by the guilt of your past.

3. Your past has passed. It is gone. Let it go.

4. God will never factor your past (forgiven iniqities) no matter how horrible into your future.

5. When the thoughts of guilt come (and they will because there's an accuser) defeat then by bold declarations of your new reality. e.g...

I am now in Christ....that horrible past is gone forever

I have a new reality in Christ...my past is gone

Because of Jesus my horrible past is of no consequence.

Keep saying it until guilt loses its hold on you.


2Corin 5.17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Romans 8.  1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Keep saying it until it sinks into your spirit and begins to influence you.
