RISE ABOVE BETRAYAL....

Tayo Onaleye, Nation Builder

Lessons from Genesis 14.

Genesis 14. 14  And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan...... 16   *And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods*

This is so touching.....

Lot left Abraham on platter of strife.

In fact, Lot was very rude to Abraham while leaving.

Abraham was old enough to be Lot's father but yet Abraham deferred to Lot and asked Lot to choose first.

Stupidly, Lot chose ahead of Abraham.

That was very rude and very stupid.

And also very greedy too.

This Lot was riding on the blessing of Abraham and yet he didn't have enough sense to defer to Abraham when there was strife.

Despite all these......

14  And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan!!!!!!!

This is simply amazing!!!

Abraham didn't repay  Lot with his coin, but rather he went out to rescue Lot at the risk of his own life and at his own expense!

Don't repay evil with evil!

God is your defence.

Rather....

Do good in return. Be not overcome of evil but rather overcome evil with good.

Shalom.

Success through the Holy Spirit

SUCCESS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT Tayo Onaleye I define success as  "Well done, thou good and faithful servant...." Matthew 25.21 *I define success as hearing "well done" from God.* Jesus succeeded. Concerning Him the Father said: Mat 3:17  ".......This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." How did Jesus do it? Jesus operated in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit Jesus couldn't have succeeded the way He did. The personal and ministry successes of Jesus were due to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10.38 How *God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost* and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit then we need Him too. That is why Jesus specifically instructed the disciples not to embark upon ministry without the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of m
