3 STEPS TO THE MIRACULOUS

THREE STEPS TO THE MIRACULOUS
Text: Luke 5.1-7

In this passage we have a situation where Peter and his partners had labored all night and caught nothing. Their failure to make a catch was not as a result of lack of skill and laziness. The situation clearly required divine intervention.

Hard work and great qualifications are sometimes not enough. There are times when the solution is a miraculous intervention.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13.8). He
is still in the business of working miracles in the lives of those who trust Him.

Here are the steps to the miraculous from this story:

1. A STRONG DESIRE
Luk 5:5  And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night….

Peter had a strong desire to succeed. That’s the reason why he labored all night. He was a hard-working person. He wanted to win. You must have a very strong desire to succeed.

Desire must precede prayer. It must precede supplication.
Your desires must also be very clear and definite. Not vague or ambiguous.

What exactly do you want? Why do you want it? How strongly do you want it? When do you want it? These are questions you need to answer very clearly specifically about your desire.

2. FAITH IN THE WORDS OF JESUS
Luk 5:5  And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing:  nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

You must have absolute confidence in the words of Jesus.

Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Heb_1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,......

The great harvest of fish Peter and his colleagues caught didn’t just come from the water; they came from the words of Jesus.

Jesus literally spoke the fish into existence. You can bank on the words of Jesus. There is nothing you cannot withdraw from His words.

The whole earth was framed and is being upheld by His words. Everything you need is in the words of Jesus. All you need is to put your faith in His word and draw whatever it is you want out of His words.

Is there an area of your life where you have labored all night and caught nothing? One word from Jesus can change your story.

The word of Jesus to Peter to launch into the deep was a personal revelation.
You need a personal revelation from Jesus about your situation.

Revelations are extremely powerful. Your miracle is packaged into your revelation. Your future is coded into your revelation.

Reach down into your spirit and draw revelations from Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Pray to the Lord for revelations. Ask for what to do. Ask for your eyes to be opened so that you may see what to do.

3. ACTION

Luk 5:6  And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Faith without works is dead. James 2.26

The revelation from Jesus to Peter placed a demand on Peter to act.
Revelation places a demand on you to act.

You must take action. You must take the risk. You must step out of your comfort zone. You must do something.

A prominent father in the faith puts it this way: “Any faith that places absolute responsibility on God is an irresponsible faith.”

You have a role to play just as God has a role to play.

When Jesus gives you the revelation in your spirit via the Holy Spirit you must step out in faith and act. Signs and wonders only follow those who believe - the ones who step out in faith.

Take action today. Go out and do something. Take the first step in faith; you don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the next step.

Miracles become inevitable when we act on revelations.

I declare that you are blessed in Jesus name.

Success through the Holy Spirit

SUCCESS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT Tayo Onaleye I define success as  "Well done, thou good and faithful servant...." Matthew 25.21 *I define success as hearing "well done" from God.* Jesus succeeded. Concerning Him the Father said: Mat 3:17  ".......This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." How did Jesus do it? Jesus operated in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit Jesus couldn't have succeeded the way He did. The personal and ministry successes of Jesus were due to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10.38 How *God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost* and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit then we need Him too. That is why Jesus specifically instructed the disciples not to embark upon ministry without the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of m
